Ruth is the managing partners of Demarau Pangestu Counsellors at Law; holds a law degree from Indonesia Catholic Atma Jaya University (1992) and Master of Law Degree from Gajah Mada University (2014). She worked for PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, Tbk (1992-1999), and Indonesian Banking Restructuring Agency (IBRA) as a Senior Counsel (1999-2004).

She has wide experience in handling banking and finance, debt restructuring, securities, merger and acquisition, corporate and commercial laws and general corporate matters.
