Lia joined Demarau Pangestu as a senior associate in March 2004. She is a law graduate of University of Indonesia, majoring in Civil Law, and the Notary Program of the same university as well. She worked for Notary Public Office (1983-1989); for banking institutions as an in house lawyer and corporate secretary (1989-1999); and for the Indonesian Banking Restructuring Agency (IBRA) as a senior counsel (1999-2004).

She has wide experience in handling banking and finance, project finance, foreign investment, mining, securities, debt restructuring, merger and acquisition and general corporate matters.
